Ahh yes rigpa! I study mahamudra mostly but have dabbled in some dzogchen practices. When I did a mahamudra retreat for the first time I was so confused 😂 Somehow- you just keep doing it and then there you are… and it’s just like that!

Big, if true. It's plausible that the causality is reversed, however. People who are already highly altruistic would seem much more likely to seek out and commit to such practices...

That seems plausible! I don't know much about wu wei, though, so I can't say confidently.

Well, it's unarguably *about* that! Whether it succeeds in its intention is a different question.
My personal experience, and observation of others, is that it does, to at least some extent.
I agree that unless you already wish to be useful, you are unlikely to take it up in the first place.
